Being a student-athlete throughout all of my years of education meant juggling athletics and school since day one. For as long as I can remember, I've been running from school to practice and giving it all I had in both fields. Everyday practices may have been exhausting at times, but the days spent at the stadium were the best spent days of my childhood. Looking back at those days makes me realize just how much track means to me, and how it has affected my life in many ways. It is not only a sport, it has become a lifestyle. Track has taught me what discipline is, how important dedication is, and having been surrounded by great and goal-driven people every day, it has helped me grow into the ambitious person I am today. I would like to continue to grow both as a student and an athlete in an environment that encourages that growth and appreciates all the sacrifices made by student-athletes such as myself. To sum up, I believe US colleges and their programs would be a perfect fit for my further education and for pursuing my athletic career.
