Personal Statement
I ran my first competitive 400 meter dash when I was 7 years old. Coming down to the last 100 yards, I looked over to my mom in the bleachers and mouthed, “I can’t do this!” With her encouragement, I finished the race, first to cross the line. At that moment, even at a young age, I learned my first valuable lesson; that I could push through even when it seemed impossible. I realized that I was capable of doing something I thought I could never do!
My collegiate goals; to be the best student-athlete that I can possibly be. Have fun, be a good teammate, work hard in the classroom , and on the track . Lastly, and most importantly, to challenge myself, even when I perceive impossibilities!
