Personal Statement
I am a Senior in high school looking forward to putting forth all my athletic abilities and hopefully going somewhere with it outside of highschool. I have made an impact on my team since I was a freshman. I came in my freshman year and was the 2nd runner for our team, competeting for first with our senior. She beat me at most the meets but not by much, and there were a few that i came in first for our team. I still have yet to win myself a meet and that is one of my biggest goals, I have gotten some pretty intense 2nd place finishes. I have great friendships with my biggest competitors and love seeing them at a meet. I've made it to state individually 3 years in a row. the first and third years my team made it too. 2009 I placed 36th with a time of 16:37. 2010 I placed 35th with a finishing time of 15:56. :40 seconds off a medal(they medal the top 10). 2011 I finished 24th with a time of 16:03. My school is a 2A school, and we have some great competition throughout the year. For college i'm open to many different things, i'm not sure where i want to go yet. I do know that I want to go into the medical field, and right now I have my sights set on psychology, so I'm looking for any where that I could major in those areas. My best time for a cross country race is 15:36.67.
