Hi, my name is Nyheila Ellis. When entering high school there weren't many options between school clubs or activities to keep me busy, so surely it was easy for me to choose sports. During my freshman year in high school I started track and field where I ran 300m hurdles. Sophomore year came around and I played volleyball and ran track and field. Junior year I added in basketball. Now that I'm a senior I now play volleyball, basketball, run track and field and cross country.
Throughout my years of playing these sports I've learned how to keep a healthy balance between my academics and athletics. Sports have taught me about patience and rhythm, also that there's no I in team, it's all for one.

- AwardsDuring volleyball season of my sophomore and junior year, my team qualified for the playoff's. In track and field I have competed in both regionals and state in the following: 300m hurdles, 4x400m run, and 4x200m dash, and high jump.
- ActivitiesOutside of sports I am also in FCCLA, the future career and community leaders of America. I've been in this club for all 4 of my high school years and as my senior year is here I hope to be president of this amazing foundation! I am also involved in my schools FBLA Program (Future Business Leaders of America)
