Personal Statement
My name is Felicity Palmer and I am an upcoming Senior at Bangor High School in Bangor, Maine. I am dedicated and determined in both my academics and athletics. My goal is to select a college that can offer me a strong psychology program and will also allow me to compete in Women's Track and Field at the college level.
I have been running track since the seventh grade. As a Freshamn I competed at the Varsity level and made it to states.
As a Sophomore I competed at a Varsity level in Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field. I made it to states during both seasons and placed in the 200 and 400 meter run in indoor and placed 3rd in outdoor in the 400 meter run at almost a minute flat. I then qualified for the New England Track meet in Massachusetts.
During my Junior Year I competed at a varsity level and indoor and outdoor track and field. During indoor I made it to states placing fourth in the 400 meter run and placed third in the 400 meter run in outdoor at States. I again qualified to go to the New England meet.
My track goals are to continue to build upon last season. I am determined to quicken my times and to gain stamina. To do so I will work hard during the season and off-season to achieve my goals.
My ultimate goal is to find a college where I can get a good education and compete at the college level in track and field.
