Personal Statement
My name is Miracle Jenae Iyanna Fuller, and I am 5’7 weighing 135lbs. I have always told my mother that I would work hard in school and be the best that I can be in sports. My parents have always told me to set goals and steps to achieve them. The saying in my household is this: “What’s for me will be for me and the only one that can stop me from achieving what is for me is Me”. One of my aspirations is to become a Juvenile Defense Attorney. I am member of the Mock Trials club. While my short team goal is get accepted into a great school and follow on to the Olympics in track and field.
Currently, I am a sophomore at St. Mary’s Ryken High School (a College Preparatory Catholic High School). During my Freshman year at St. Mary Ryken I had the opportunity to try out for the Varsity Cheerleader and Varsity Track team. My initial goal as a freshman was to make the both varsity teams while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I succeed to do exactly what I set to do.
Not only am I a Varsity Track and Cheer team member, I also participates during the summer in a league team name: Comets of Charles county track and club a USATF/ AAU member. I participated in the Junior Olympics at the age of 12 years old. I also placed at ESPN Orlando, FL. Track and Field has always been important to me after my stint in Gymnastics. I made the preliminaries 2018 summer league the top 8. They took the top 6 to the Junior Olympics. I was a little disappointed, but I know that I must work harder for next year 2019. I know that I am a true athlete, my mom and dad are my role models in life. They both are military veterans. They both love to run. We have moved many times and my exposure is far none exceptional. I consider myself a well-rounded athlete that accepts challenges face on.
My goal and aspiration are to be the best that I can be. I bring a well discipline attitude about life and what I have to offer any organization if given an opportunity. I am dedicated and a hard worker that never gives up! My character speaks volume about who I am, I am not perfect, but I am a Christian and I love the Lord. My parents have always taught me to never quit and never look at short distance but to always keep my eyes on the prize of being successful.
I am excited and I am looking forward to this track and cheer season. I know this opportunity will prepare me for life and what life has for me instead of life preparing me.
