I am a high school senior who has been participating in Track & Field for a consecutive four years. Although moving half way through my high school career, I have kept up with my competitive ambitions and been invited to either the Pennsylvania or Maryland State competitions since my freshman year. I am a diverse athlete; I typically run the four hundred meter and have recently learned the discus throw and long jump, which i placed in the 2009 Maryland States Competition. I have held leadership in both indoor and outdoor teams and give inevitable motivation to others. I would like to go to a college with demanding academic qualifications to challenge me in the classroom, as well as on the track. I have no limitations as to where I am willing to move on the map. I am the daughter of a single father and also have a twin sister and special needs little brother who live with my mother. My intended major is aeronautical/aerospace engineering but, due to the narrow subject, it is likely to change to something similar or related after deciding on a college and their available majors. My athletic goals in college are to reach my competetive potential in all events and to become an asset to the team in which I am a part of.
