Personal Statement

My goal is to successfully run women's track at the collegiate level. Unfortunately my junior track year was cut short due to an ACL reconstruction surgery but as soon as I could run I was back on the track and have been practicing ever since! I want to show not only my coaches and teammates, but my school, family, and town what I can do especially after coming back from an injury. I want to positively represent my university wherever that may be. It's been said by all my past coaches that I am "extremely coachable" whether it be on the track or in youth soccer. I can adapt well to different situations and be very flexible when it comes to events. I've maintained straight A's for a majority of my high school career and have had a passion for running since I was in middle school. I love to win, to meet my goals, to overachieve, and show others what I can do.
