I aspire to be an outstanding and dedicated athlete at the collegiate level and would be honored to have the chance of being a new addition to a competitive program. I strive to perform at my best possible caliber and would love to see myself improve further in a collegiate team. Dedication and love of the sport of track and field has left me looking for more and more ways to get faster and throw farther for better PR's and for more opportunities to compete at a higher level.
Not only do I hope to succeed on the track, but I want to excel in the classroom and further expand my knowledge on the world. I believe that the discipline and hard work that comes with sports will transfer into my academic life, as it already has, helping with my time management and productivity.
I am also looking for more ways to connect with different people from all types of backgrounds. As a former member of my local Taekwondo club's Leadership Team, I have more confidence and have the necessary leadership skills to bringing a team together.
Playing a sport in college is an opportunity that many students do not get, and I hope bring my academic and athletic lives together to positively affect my life.
