Personal Statement

Hello Coaches,

My name is Shanel Turransky and I aspire to be a competitive athlete because sports are a part of my life, I have grown up playing them and intend to continue for as long as I can. Athletics fuel my competitive personality and have taught me important values such as dedication, resilience, and discipline. I am currently a three sport athlete, I not only run track but I also swim, dive, and cheerlead, I am very flexible in events that I do and am willing to compete in any of these sports upon request! I can not imagine my life without athletics and so I will work hard to ensure that they stay in my life all throughout my college experience.
