My collegiate goals include becoming the strongest runner and person I can be, because I know I have yet to reach my full potential as an athlete and a person. I'm hardworking, dedicated, understanding and supportive. I love being there for my teammates, and I also love a challenge. I'm not afraid of being thrown into something new. I'm a distance/mid-distance runner but I'd like to try hurdles my Junior year of track, as I tried steeplechase in the summer of 2017. I ran my second ever 2k steeplechase race in a time of 8:14 in August after being unable to run the whole month of June due to injury. As a person, I'm a perfectionist, so I always do things to the best of my ability. I work two jobs currently, one at a frozen yogurt place and the other as a waitress at a senior living center, I love helping people. I enjoy volunteering and have held an administrative position in my school's Interact Club since freshman year. I'm hoping to further my athletic and academic career at a school that will challenge me and prepare me for my life after college.
