Alexandra Hanson '18 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to become a more well rounded individual by being a student-athlete in college. I have always been an avid student, and I take pride in maintaining great grades. I hope to learn better time management and organizational skills throughout my collegiate career, which in turn will give me a leg up in life. In regard to my athletic career, I hope to earn a trip to Nationals. I also have more broad goals, such as improving my mental strategy for running and self confidence. I think I am different from other recruits because I know what it feels like to fail hard and come back from it. I came off of an awful season and ended the next season better than ever. I realize that failure is an important aspect of growth, and I do not know many other teenagers who understand that. I am very organized, so I do well with juggling academics and athletics. I also always put academics first. Thank you for your time.
