Hi! My name is Lily David. I’m currently finishing my junior year at Chippewa Valley High School in Clinton Township, Michigan. I believe I am a very driven athlete and I’m ready for whatever comes my way. My main event is the 400m, with a PR of 1:04.7. My freshman and sophomore years of high school track, I sustained injuries that altered my ability to run. Nonetheless, I persisted to train as soon as I was cleared and I work every day to run sub-60, which I plan on achieving before my senior year. After my freshman year, I found out about my club team, 16Ways. They have been my family and continue to push me out of my comfort zone and help me achieve more than I ever thought I could. Because of them, I’m not shy to taking challenges head on, on and off the track. Academically, I have always been a hard worker in school, with a 3.845 GPA with honors and AP classes. I work about 15 hours a week as well as participating in National Honor Society. I’ve always wanted to run in college since I started racing at 8 years old, and I‘m willing to take on whatever I have to do to run my best!
