I have been running track since the 5th grade. I decided to run track because I wanted to try something new and my mother advised me to try out for different sports to see which ones I was good at and which ones I enjoyed the most. I chose track because I’ve always loved running.
My academic goals for high school is to mantain a G.P.A above a 3.5. My goal for college is to be able to compete with the best track & field athletes in the nation. The only obstacle I have had to overcome was not competing one summer for the Jr. Olympics because I was diagnosed with Osgood Schlatter disease. On the advise of my doctor, I took a break from running, but I came back better and stronger.
