Hannah Hood-Blaxill '18 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a collegiate program that will further my career athletically as well as academically. As of now, I’m looking to study Chemistry or Biochemistry! As a freshman, I narrowly missed qualifying for the state championships. Although I was disappointed, it definitely gave me motivation through my sophomore year. To continue the trend, sophomore year, I narrowly missed qualifying for New Balance Nationals. This experience helped me learn and grow as an athlete, leading me to push myself through conditioning and training throughout the winter and eventually qualifying for the championship high jump at NBN this past spring. My goal for senior year is to break my high school's record in the high jump, which is currently 5’6 ¾”. As a three sport athlete and six-time captain, I can't wait to bring my leadership skills and work ethic to a collegiate level team!
