I am going to graduate in June of 2013. I have been involved in athletics since I was five years old. I have played various sports such as soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, cross country, and track. I have enjoyed track throughout the years because it pushes me to do my best. It is a team sport, but my personal best in individual events help me to be an asset to the team. I enjoy cheering others on and being a leader for my team, so I was nominated to be a captain for the 2013 season. My dream is to pursue running at the collegiate level. I strive to do my personal best and want to push myself to the college level because athletics are important to me. Academics are my first priority, and I would like to find a college that will challenge me so I can find my position in the medical field. I would also prefer a Christian college where I can practice my faith, but I am open to many other options. I aspire to challenge myself with academics and athletics. Therefore, I believe running track at a good college will help me do just that.
