Watervliet Track ...Personal Statement
Melissa Swanson - 400 meter record holder at Watervliet High School. 60 Seconds around the track. I broke a 30 year old record my Freshman year, and now my name is on the gym wall. Went on to state at Comstock Park as a Freshman, came in 14th, Sophmore year broke my own record again, followed by 11th in state. Junior year 9th in State.
I am a highly motivated, outgoing, honest and very confident individual. I pride myself in everything I do, my job, work ethic, studies and athletics. I work well as an individual or as a team player. When the "bar" is set high, I thrive on the challange and competition in the classroom and on the track.
