Personal Statement

Our high school does not have a place to practice proper jumps, so I would like you to know, that track meets basically are my practices. Since junior high, I have been a jumper in track, as our team counts on me to make points in the three jumping events. With that being said, I feel I could also excel at sprints if given a chance. Right now, I run the 4x400 as my only running event. With proper facilities and regular practices, I feel these personal best of mine could greatly improve. I live in the middle of nowhere, so there are no track clubs for me to join. I would be a great addition to your track team, because I don't come with a lot of habits and am like a blank slate for learning form and technique.
