I am currently a senior in high school and am going on 7 years of competitive club track and field competition. Also, 2025 will be my 5th year participating in varsity track and field (starting in 8th grade).
I mostly focus on 60m, 100m, 200m, and sometimes 400m and relays. Although I have suffered from a couple injuries throughout high school track seasons, I have always been able to bounce back and become an even stronger runner than before.
I'm an active leader and role model on my High School and Club track team and often find myself assisting younger athletes with things such as running mechanics and form. I want to work in the Social Work field so that I can put my advocacy skills to use and help people receive the treatment they deserve. I'm also a great teammate and even when I was injured, I never missed a practice or meet and always encouraged and cheered on my teammates, because until it is my turn I will clap for others happily.
