2017 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I have a passion to compete! I am working toward fulfilling my dream of competing during college. I have always been a 3 sport athlete, but running is something that came naturally to me. I ran my first 5K when I was 10 and have not looked back. Freshmen year I placed 8th at State in the 800M. I recently broke the school record in the 1600M with 5:26.25. I feel as though I’m just getting started and can’t wait to see where this sport takes me. I work hard in the classroom and aim to be the class 1A 800M champ during my high school career.
I am a dedicated student athlete who earned all-state academic honors as a freshmen. I am also an active member of my community and have just completed my reign as Princess Kellogg 2015-16. I volunteer at St. Elizabeth's Healthcare Ctr. in Wabasha, MN. This month I will be confirmed at St. Felix Catholic Church. I am also a mass server at St. Agnes in Kellogg, MN.
I can't wait to take my skill set to the next level.
