Personal Statement
My name is Nikki and I am planning to be either a pharmacist or a physical therapist depending on what school I go to. I want to go to a college that I will fit in well at and be able to excel. I am a very outgoing and fun person to be around. I love people which makes me a great team player. I have been told that I am a good leader and that people can depend on me which also makes me a good team player. I believe that having good morals is more important than anything and that school always comes first. I have always had good grades and school, carrying a 3.6 to 3.7 GPA right now and feel school usually comes pretty easy for me. It is also very easy for me to make friends and to get along with people, even with people that some others don't really like. I am good at following directions and putting in extra effort in both school and sports. I have been a top medalist and point earner both my Freshman (275 points/32 medals) and Sophomore year (282 points/ 34 medals). I was fortunate enough to break 2 School records my Freshman year and 1 my Sophomore year and still hold the top records in the 200m, 4x100 and 4x200 and earned a "Highest Point Award"-trophy my Sophomore year. I have had the honor of going to state twice so far in track, earning ALL State both times, even after having to have my appendix taken out a few weeks before districts last April. I always make it a point to congratulate the other competitors. I love track, especially running the 200m and 400m and prefer a college with a track team I could be a part of. I also play volleyball and have been on the the Varsity team since my Sophomore year, but as I am 5'5" I will probably not be able to continue my Middle Hitter position into college but I am considering doing a walk on to see if I could also succeed in college volleyball.
