Personal Statement

I would like to be able to attend college where I can compete in X-Country and Track. I am interested in pursuing a pre physical therapy degree (exercise and sports science, kinesiology, athletic training).  I also have a strong interest in Criminal justice with an emphasis in forensic science.   I have taken classes in high school that are related in both fields.  I want to compete at the collegiate level in cross country and track.  Unfortunately, I became injured during this year's cross country season and was not able to compete much of the season.  I did race at state and lead our team to 10th place.  I will be training through the winter months to be prepared for the track season.  I am very focused on my academics and running.  I enjoy being a team member and encouraging others to do the very best they can every day.
