Personal Statement
My name is Camrynn Referente and I am a 5’0 long distance track and cross country runner who also plays basketball during the winter season. I have been a three sport varsity athlete for Bloomfield High School (NJ) since my freshman year.
Playing sports in high school has taught me countless lessons and has allowed me to make unbelievable friendships. I have learned determination, perseverance, and patience while representing my school on the course, court, and track. I have a lot to offer on a college team. My work ethic is unmatchable and I will bring a positive attitude everyday.
I have been a varsity scholar athlete since freshman year, taking AP and honors courses. This has pushed me to work even harder than a lot of people. I am grateful for the education I received in high school and hopefully receive in college. Finding a school that benefits me academically and athletically is the most important thing in finding the right college for me.
