I am very motivated both academically and athletically. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA and have a 26 ACT while competing in volleyball, basketball and track all four years of my high school career. A varsity member of the track team I finished 7th in state as a freshman, 3rd as a sophomore and was qualified for state as a junior prior to having ACL surgery. I chose to have surgery prior to the end of the season so that I would be healthy for the 2015 track season. I progressed fast enough to play basketball this season with no issues and have thrown a measured 132 feet in practice this week. I am open to any destination that fits me both academically as well as the opportunity to continue my javelin career.
Update: Today, March 13th, I threw my Personal Best 129'-9" and won the Ralph Boyer Relays in Carlsbad, NM. I will also post that video within a couple days.
Update: Today, April 10th, I threw three throws over 131' with my new PB of 133'-8". A youtube video of my approach is on my profile.
