Kaela Swift '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaela Swift, and I am a 15 year old Sophomore attending Medgar Evers Preparatory School in Brooklyn, NY.  I started running at 7 years old, and I have been competing since then. I have ran at Millrose Games, New Balance Indoor Nationals, and attended several Youth Olympic competitions.

Although the Covid-19 pandemic put the whole world on a temporary lockdown, I have been working incredibly hard to keep on improving with my work on and off the field. This season I am aiming to PR in my 400 and 200 with times of 57.0 and 24.8, respectively. I have a great work ethic and attitude, and I am always looking for things to help elevate my to my next level in my running, as well as developing me as a person.
