Ever since I began running in the Girls on the Run Program, I have been setting goals to become more successful in my running career. In Varsity Cross Country, I have set seasonal goals to improve my PR, to compete in Sectionals, and this past year to compete in the New York State Championships. I'm working on improving my Cross Country as well as my Outdoor Track times in order to improve my chances for college recruitment.
I would love to run Cross Country in college because running gives me motivation, energy and purpose. It make me feel good. And, of course, I love to win. I enjoy being part of our team and I try to inspire my teammates to reach their own personal goals.
