Personal Statement
Despite being diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis later in life at the age of 3, having had numerous lung infections and a PICC line, I realized the importance of setting goals for my life. One of those goals was to be the best athlete I could be in track, cross country and soccer. Coming as far as I have in track has not only impressed my doctors & family but also my school and community. I have a positive attitude, a good outlook on life, and high academic achievements. Running for a Division 1 school is my goal of mine I've been chasing after since 8th grade when I was pulled up to benefit the varsity team. Not only is track a sport to me, but also a passion of mine.
