Thank you for taking the time to consider me for your program. I am looking for a school that will allow me to compete at a high level while getting a strong education that will set me up for the future. Throughout my life I was mainly a soccer player. It was only recently that I began to develop a love and skill for track. My sophomore year was my first year ever competing in track and field. Then during this past season I really began to focus on track. Currently at the end of my second season competing in track and field I am ending with a best of 17' 5" in long jump. I have never competing in indoor track and field but during this upcoming year (my senior year) I plan to. I really am looking for a college that has not only a strong academic program that will allow me to be a competitive medical school applicant but also a track program that will allow me to hone my skills and improve my long jump. I would like to continue to excel with a program that will help me become a competitive athlete at a high level of competition. My lack of experience makes me strive to find my limits as I feel that with the right program I could greatly improve.
