Personal Statement
Track and Field has been an integral part of my life ever since I joined the varsity team in 8th grade. To me, this sport is the epitome of perseverance. With the ability to compete with the best high school athletes, it is a constant reminder that I can push myself more and work even harder for my goals, no matter how difficult they may seem. I carry the same approach to my academics since I believe that education is the key to a successful, and an enriched future for myself, and society as a whole. I've always valued supporting and encouraging others on my team, which I personally feel can make all the difference. I hope to carry on these ethics, at a collegiate level.
