Personal Statement
I'm 5'4" weighing 118 lbs. As I continue to run track my times get faster. I haven't had a constant time, it's persistently changing. I have won Section Championships in all the four years that I've been a part of the track team at Indian River. Two of the four years I made to States in indoor Track & Field, and earned the title of Section X Champions. Two of the four years I was nominated captain of the Varsity team. I'm a very hard worker, making sure that my techniques are trained and I stay focused in the events that I'm placed in. I'm a good motivator, and like to help anyone who isn't certain of a particular way to do a specific exercise/event. I'm interested in LSU in Louisiana, not just for the purpose of fulfilling Track & Field but I know that LSU is considered to be a good college in respect to the Medical Field. I like culture and a diverse group of people, so I'm looking to attend a relatively big college that has D1 sports. For school I will need to apply for financial aid because my parents will not be able to pay my way through college. Really I'm hoping that I qualify to be placed on a team that will challenge me and make me a better runner. I won't say that I'm the best athlete there is out there, but I know I have potential to be great and make a difference.
