My collegiate goals are to excel and succeed during my years of college and to maintain a good gpa. Dedication and hard work is a very important part to me. I am determined to achieve the goals I have set for myself in sports and in academics. I try my best to put in the hard work that is needed for me to successfully succeed. A little about my background, I come from a very small school. Opportunities aren't as high for me as someone in a bigger school. I haven't had any jumping coaches throughout my 2 years of track, so I've been trying to teach myself! I like to say that I am a raw athlete and that there is a huge space for improvement for my techniques for my events. Going into my first year of track I had won sectionals for triple jump and my second year of track which was this season I had won sectionals for high jump and had continued onto state qualifiers for pentathlon. I had gotten first in State qualifiers and then had headed onto the New York State meet for pentathlon which I had placed 6th in my division. I also hold 4 school records for triple jump, high jump, 100 hurdles, and pentathlon. My goal for my last season of high school track is to make it back to the state meet again and place 3rd or lower.
