I have been running ever since I was little. I joined my Elementary School's ridge runners' program and my Middle School's track team but never took it seriously until High School. When I joined my school's indoor track team, I didn’t know exactly what I was doing but I listened to my Coach and stayed focused. By the end of the indoor season, I realized how close I was to the 600m school record (1:37.50) which is my new goal for next season. During outdoor I continued to get stronger while making sure I was staying attentive in school and keeping my grades up. In the future I would like to run at the college level but still focus on my education.
