My goal in college is to compete at the highest level while continuing to grow as both an athlete and a leader. I want to contribute to a team’s success, push my limits, and develop the skills necessary to impact my community beyond track. I desire a program that values hard work, strong character, and team culture, where I can thrive both athletically and academically. Something that makes me a strong candidate is my dedication, resilience, and leadership. I am a conference and state champion in the 300m hurdles and a national qualifier, but my success goes beyond results. I am committed to constant improvement and embracing challenges, knowing that hard work is what can separate me from others. Academically, I hold myself to the same high standard. I have maintained straight A’s while balancing training and leadership responsibilities. Beyond grades, I excel in problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication. My experience in leadership roles has taught me the value of fairness, confidentiality, and understanding different perspectives, which help me succeed in the classroom and beyond. What truly sets me apart from other recruits is my mindset. I don’t just compete for personal success; I compete to glorify God, uplift those around me, and inspire others. I want to be part of a program where I can grow into the best version of myself—on the track, in the classroom, and in life.
