Brittany Luckey '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brittany Luckey. I am a senior at South Rowan High School. I am involved in many sports such as swimming, diving, cheerleading, and track and field. During my college years, I would love to continue my track and field career for it has taught myself so much during the past four years. God and family are number one in my life. I am blessed to have my family support me in everything I do, including pole vault. To be able to pole vault, an athlete has to be driven with passion. I am a driven athlete and a humble learner. I accept critique from my coaches and use it to better myself, on and off the track. I believe that academics are just as important as raising a PR in pole vault. I am thankful to have wonderful teachers and coaches at South Rowan to push athletes such as myself to strive just as much in the classroom as on the track. During my college career, I will not lack in academics. I will push harder than ever in practice as well as in the classroom, and I will use my determination to be contagious to everyone around me. I will not just go to college to pole vault and study business, but go to be a walking testimony to those who are not well driven. I am excited to see what God has in store for my life. Through Him, all things are possible.
