Personal Statement

My name is Ashley Miller, I am 17 and attend Clayton High school . My main track event is hurdles, I hold the high jump record set by a senior (Keni Harrison) and I plan on doing track for as long as I can. The reason I began track was because of the coach at my middle school, she pushed me harder and harder which helped me become the runner I am today. I will never stop pushing myself to be the best I can in academics and sports. Running is the thing I've been most passionate about since I stepped onto the track. Ever since then i'm at My High School practicing everyday I can while balancing my job, clubs, internships and grades. In college I would like to continue to further not only my love for track and field but also my education. I would like to major in dental hygiene,political science or buisness.
