I started participating in Track as a 7th grader. I started off as a sprinter and a jumper. I did those events because my friends did them. They weren't really where my passion was. My freshman year I decided to try throwing. As soon as I picked up the implements, I knew throwing was for me. I love to lift, and we do a lot of that too. This year we got a new coach, and my shot put PR increased by about 7 feet. She has really helped me to connect my form and have overall better form. I want to continue throwing at the next level because I love the sport so much. I get to be competitive with myself and my teammates. My bench press max is 170lbs, squat and deadlift are both 275lbs right now. I'm hoping to hit 200 on bench, and 350-400 on squats/deadlift by the time I graduate high school!
