My goals and aspirations are to do well in school and also play the sport I'm passionate about. I first became interested in track in seventh grade because my dad pointed out throwing to me. At the time I didn't know throwing would have such a large impact on my life. Now I see how much track has helped me grow as a person by building my self confidence and helping me find something I'm so dedicated and passionate about. One thing that makes me different from other possible athletes is that as a high schooler I already have experience with the hammer throw. I also feel that my positive attitude, high academics, and leadership skills will make me a good contribution to the team.
