Personal Statement

My name is Caitie Traylor, I'm 5'5 and 120 lbs. I am a student athlete at Canal Winchester High School.  I  have determination, pride,  and many dreams. I am dedicated to every thing that I put my mind to, and sports is my priority second to my education. My greatest accomplishments so far is receiving All-First Team MSL my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years. I plan on working hard and carrying out these titles throughout my Senior year. Another accomplishment I am proud of is coming 6th in the Division 1 District Championships in  2011 in the 100m hurdles, bringing my time from 21 seconds my Freshman year to 16.45 my Sophmore year. I have also played Club Soccer for the Pride Soccer Club for the 6 years (12 seasons of travel) prior to my Freshman Year. I believe I can offer a team a multitude of things, such as being a supportive teammate and being a competitive athlete. One of my dreams is to live out the success that my idol, LoLo Jones, has achieved. I am looking at a wide range of schools, and my options are completely open. I plan on majoring in Sports Broadcasting, and one day being on Television. The goals I have set for myself are quite high, but I feel that if I practice as hard as I compete, I could easily live out my dreams. With dedication, comes determination, and those are the things that are pushing me closer to my dreams and ambitions to carry out what I want and have a dream to do. My work ethic was instilled in me by my Dad, who played Professional Football in Italy. He taught me that I CAN and will continue to raise the bar for my competition. I have always been the youngest in my class, but I feel that has only made me better by stepping my game up at all times. I can promise you this; if I call you "COACH", you will get 110% from me everytime I practice and when i step onto that track to compete. Thank You for viewing my profile and taking interest in me. I look forward to hearing from you !

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
