I am looking forward to achieving the next phases of my academic and athletic development in college. I strive to earn good grades in demanding high school classes while developing my form and maintaining a high fitness level for track competition. While I have also competed in soccer at the club and high school level for most of my life, track - sprinting is where my passion lies. My personal goal is to be accepted to a college that will prepare me for a future in physical therapy while allowing me to continue developing as a student athlete.
I want to pursue a degree in physical therapy, because I love sports and ultimately want to work with developing and high caliber athletes. I would like to continue running track in college because I enjoy sprinting, competition, and being part of a team, and I know I haven't reached my potential.
I understand that academic requirements are high for the field that I have chosen, but I am driven to achieve a high standard. That same drive helps my athletic preparation and development and makes me a supportive teammate.
I want to reach my potential as a student and athlete at the college level while preparing for what comes next in life.
