brookeann cornelius '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Brookeann I am a varsity  and field athlete at William Henry Harrison high school . I started my throwing career in the seventh grade and have worked hard year after year to finally earn my position on the varsity squad my first year of high school. By my sophomore year I was able to Acheive MVP of my team and have the most varsity points out of our girls track team. I not only do outdoor track but I also compete on my schools indoor track team and weight lift . I hold my schools bench press record and I’m in the 300, 400, and the 500 pound Iron Maiden club. Those clubs are earned by adding the total weight between my bench (175) and squat (335)weight.  My goals for college is to compete well and represent the team I will be throwing for physically and Academically . I want to throw in college to help hopefully bring me to the olympics one day. I believe that with my hard work and willingness to train and get better any chance I get will be a great addition to your team. Not only am I a hard worker but I’m also a leader for my other team mates always helping them to grow mentally and physically. Finally another reason I would be a great addition to your team is that I am willing to push my self and others along with me . I learn this skill from being a youth track and field throwing coach where I help inspire younger generations to push and achieve their athletic dreams much like I would help push my team mates to achieve their goals as well.
