Personal Statement
My name is Rachael Adams and I'm a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Louisville, Ohio. My college goals are to major in Athletic Training and move into a Physical Therapy program. I'm also looking for an opportunity to study abroad. For me, athletics has helped me be a disciplined student. I would like to be in a career that is connected to sports.
I'm a 3 year letter winner on my high school track team, sprinter of the year each year, and have been to the state meet each year. My favorite races are the relays. What I contribute most to my team is my desire to be a team player. My goal this past spring was to make sure the three senior members of the 4×100 team made it to state one last time. We are a small school and I am very proud to be a part of a state championship team who rallied together to score the 3rd highest number of team points in history as well as be a part of the first girls track team in Stark County history to win a state championship. This is the kind of hard work and dedication I will bring to a team.
I'm also a 3 year letter winner on my high school soccer team and am a captain this year. I am a very diverse player. I've started in every game and play all field positions, sometimes all of them in a single game.
