My name is Mckenna Bruce and I am currently a junior at Athens High School in Ohio. Track has been a part of my life for the last six years. I have been lucky enough to throw in two states. I am originally for Western Kentucky where my career began in 6th grade. By 7th grade, I was on varsity and qualified for my first high school state. That year I was regional runner up in the discus and was on the regional winning team. Along with being state runner up team that year. My 8th-grade year I got another varsity opportunity that year. It was a great season but needed to be in physical therapy, so I stopped near the end to get completely healthy. My freshman year I qualified regional runner up in the shot put, qualified for state, and regional team winners again. Along with being state champions that year. Then I moved to Oio my sophomore year. A great season going to districts. Going to my junior year I am excited for what's to come. Through this message, I am not trying to sell myself to you to give e a change, but I am selling my passion. My passion for this sport is unmatched. I want to show up every day and give my all for the next five years. Through a great program, I want to get a quality education and more time with a sport I love. To me, there is no one who has fought for this sport more than me and I want to continue that. Thank you all for your time.
