I have always been a very motivated athlete, working hours on steps and throws out at the track field, during season especially. I keep up workouts on my own outside of off season to ensure I am fit and prepared by the time season roles around. I became a state champion in 2A girls discus my freshman year(2018).
I keep straight A's and I'm a part of National Honors Society, Business Professionals of America, and art club. I aspire to gain a full-ride to a four-year college and be recruited for their track team, working to gain a doctorate in psychology. I'm also taking concurrent classes through East Central University in Ada, OK to where I will graduate high school and already be a sophomore in college.
Outside of athletics and academics, I'm able to keep two part-time jobs at a local Daylight Donuts shop and an after-school kids program at my high school called S.A.F.E. In S.A.F.E, I help tutor kids from kindergarten to 5th grade and form special bonds with them through outdoor and indoor activities. From these two jobs, I pay for my own phone bill, car insurance, and gas. I also have a monthly payment of $65 that goes towards paying for half of my senior trip to Costa Rica. On top of this, I perform my own oil changes and pay for them as well. I have many responsibilities, but I handle each one effectively.
