When I attend college, I want to better/further my knowledge of my academics (German/Musical Fluency), my sport (soccer) and myself as a person. I view college as an opportunity rather than an expectation. No matter where I go, or what I do, I will always put 100% of myself into the situation. I like to think of myself as a the personification of the business method "Garbage in, Garbage out." (It doesn't sound appealing, but has a valid point.) If I don't do my best, the results won't be my best.
This applies to all aspects of my life. I want to do my best, so I can hope to one day be fully fluent in the German Language/Culture. The way German makes me light up just has a certain "je ne sais quoi" - an indescribable happiness. I view my music like I do German: a language in which I hope to be fluent in. My love and appreciation for both sectors of the Arts - Language and Fine - provide me with different perspectives in life and the game of soccer. Everything is filled with fugues, counterpoints, waltzes, melodies, and harmonies.
I hope to bring a new, fresh, positive outlook to whichever team I belong to as well as a sense of leadership - official or unofficial - because that's the type of person and player I aspire to be. If just one person, one child, says that I made a difference in their life, I have succeeded in my life's journey.
