I have ran track since 6th grade and started as a thrower not thinking I was very fast. As I got in better shape I realized running and sprinting were more my passion and began the focus my training on getting faster. I love track and would love to continue my passion for the sport through college. I have been a district runner up and state qualifier in the 200 and 4x400 my freshman year, and ended up placing in the 4x400. I was district runner up in the 400 and 4x400 my sophomore year and qualifyied for state and placed in both events. My junior year I was district champ in the 400 and runner up in the 4x100 and 4x400. This years state meet is still to come! I continue to improve my times and distances each season and I also have a goal to compete in heptathlons and become a great all around track athlete. I am extremely motivated in athletics and I am also varsity goalkeeper for our soccer team and placed 6th in the 138lb weight class in the women's wrestling qualifier this year. I participate in many extracurricular activities and have many hobbies including horseback riding. I am also very academically motivated and take rigorous classes. I am currently enrolled in History 202, and math 112. I've taken AP English and Chemistry. I am co editor of our Yearbook and a member of National Honor Society. I am ranked 4th in my class as of right now and am on track to receive my Honors Diploma. I want to study Veterinary Medicine and become a large animal vet in the future.
Below is my profile that contains all my times in my track seasons so far.
