My name is Sophia Felix, I am a 15 year old sophomore who partakes in Soccer, Swimming, and Track. My main sport at the moment is soccer, but I also have a great love for track. My main events are the 4x800 and the 400. My freshman year, 2021, of track my 4x800 team won the State Championships! My best time is a 2:31, but I am hoping to drop to a 2:25 by the end of my sophomore season. My most recent 400 time was a 1:06 but I am hoping to drop to a 1:02 by the end of my sophomore season as well. I think I can be an asset to your team because I am a hard worker, good teammate, and I am coachable. I work to meet my and your expectations.
Outside of sports, I take am in the perfect peers club along with social justice club! In perfect peers I get the chance to interact with students with learning disabilities. In social justice club we talk about current events and how we can end up making a difference as part of the future adults. In school right now I am in Hon English 2, World History 3, and Hon Trig/Pre Calc. Outside of that, I am studying "The Lucifer Effect" which is a book written on the study of the separation of good and evil and how the human psyche gets to the point of "evil". This correlates with the fact that I want to study psychiatry in college.
I hope to be able to find a college that meets both my student and athletic desires. And I hope you can see me as an athletic asset to your team.
