Personal Statement

I am looking for a school that can push me both athletically and academically. I plan to choose a school that will help me prepare for my future after college. My goals for college are to get a college degree in pre-medicine, get into a good medical school, and to be an important member of a track and field team during my years in college.

I am willing to work hard and put an immense amount of focus into my school work as well as my training. I also enjoy being extremely involved in the school and extra-curricular activities.

Overall, a school that can provide me with all of these factors will be the best place for me!

Qualified for PIAA state championships in the 3 events I ran...the 4x800 (first) with a time of 9:16, a new Butler High school record, the open 800m with a time of 2:15.4, and the 4x400 relay with a time of 3:54. Our 4x800 and 4x400 relays (which I anchor) also qualified for New Balance Nationals championship meet.

Butler Girls Track Team won the WPIAL Championships. I ran in 4 events. The 4X800 (first place against all 3 other finalist schools), the 400 m (second place to Norwin, first against other two schools), the 800m (first place against all schools), and the 4x400 relay (first place against all schools). I ran a 57.6 split as anchor in the 4x400 relay, my PR for the season. Our 4x400 relay team time qualified for New Balance Nationals at a time of 3:54.
