I am a sophomore in high school. I have a 4.0 GPA, and currently am involved in many extracurricular activities. For instance, I am involved in the breakfast club, food and culture club, key club, and soon will be involved in Mini-thon. Last year I assisted my club track team's coaching staff with the training of elementary-school aged athletes in cross country, which demonstrates my willingness to help others learn what I have learned. I am extremely passionate about my track career, I am one of the best on my school team. I mostly run the 400m (best time 1.00), 800m (best time 2.20), the 4x400m, and the 4x800. This previous outdoor season, I qualified for districts in the 400, 4x400, and 4x800, getting 7th in the 400m, 4th in the 4x400, and 1st in the 4x800. Qualifying for states in the 4x800, we ended up with the third place medal. My goals for my remaining high school years is to improve my times, and to qualify for states in all my events. Along with school track, I am also involved with club track, where I've achieved numerous titles, including being an All American. After high school, I plan to go to an excellent college to continue my academic and track career. Academically, I am interested in majoring in pre-criminal law, with a minor in history. My plan after college is to attend law school. I am a dedicated, hard-worker, who will do anything to improve myself and be the best I can be.
