Personal Statement
By the time I have graduated from college/university, I hope to have gained a degree in actuarial science and a lifetime of memories with professors, friends, coaches, and teammates.
I am a self-motivated athlete who excels in the classroom and has been able to fulfill leadership roles on and off of the field. Seeing my teammates succeed in their endeavors helps to push me to succeed in my endeavors. I do not tolerate laziness from others and expect them to hold me to the same, or higher, standards that I hold them to.
Athletics has always been an important part of my life and I have been able to balance off-season workouts and a high-demand academic schedule. Academic demands will always precede athletic demands.
