Hi, my name is Johbrianna (Joby), I am 15 years old and I participate in Track, marching band, and wrestling. I have been doing Track and Field since 5th grade, Marching band since 6th, and I just started wrestling my 10th grade year. My goals in the future are to go to college to study Criminal justice and go into 6 months of PSP training after college. And I also would like to get a scholarship for Track and continue my sports career. I am a good candidate because I am very passionate about what I do, even when things get hard I keep working and training to be where I want to be. What makes me different from other recruits is that nothing will stop me. I will not let any negativity get in my way, I take making mistakes as a way of learning and a way to get better. My experience with hurdles was all about learning what to do and what not to do. The first practices of the season I would constantly fall and hit the hurdles. But even after that, I kept pushing myself and telling myself that I will not let one tiny mistake get in my way. During the season I was competing against Sophomores and Seniors as a Freshman, it was a great experience and it made me realize that even if I think I am doing my best now I still have an opportunity to get better.
